St. Thomas, Ont. -- A landmark child-protection case continues to be veiled in secrecy after an Ontario judge refused to overturn a series of controversial publication bans.
The case, which began when child-protection workers seized seven brothers and sisters from a fundamentalist Christian family, has generated national media attention.
After hearing submissions from a media lawyer, Madam Justice Eleanor Schnall ruled that there would be no change in the bans.
