St. Thomas, Ont. -- Two more days of court time, June 26 and 27, were set yesterday for a hearing into whether seven children taken from their Southwestern Ontario home amid allegations of abuse need protection by Family and Children's Services of St. Thomas-Elgin.
The children were returned to their parents in Aylmer a few weeks after they were seized last July 4. The parents are parishioners at the Church of God, which says the Bible tells them to use corporal punishment on their children.
